2010 Student and Adult Flute Choirs
Nominations are now being accepted for the Flute Festival Mid-South Honor Flute Choirs. There will be flute choirs for students and for adults. Participants will rehearse and perform with flutists from all over the South during the annual festival March 20th, 2010 in Memphis, TN. We invite you to participate in this exciting event!

How to Apply: Students who have not yet graduated from high school are allowed to apply. There is no lower age limit, but students should have at least a year of experience. The attached nomination form must be completed by your band director or private lesson instructor. You may submit the form by email or snail mail to the address listed. There is no fee to participate in the flute choir; however, all participants must be members of the Mid-South Flute Society. Annual membership is $20 for students. Please make checks payable to Mid-South Flute Society in blue or black ink.
Part Assignments: All applicants will be accepted. Parts will be assigned based on the evaluation of the director or instructor. Please remember to indicate on your form if you have access to a piccolo, alto or bass flute.
Adult Honor Flute Choir
How to Apply:
Adult students (undergraduate or graduate), amateurs and professionals are encouraged to apply. Please complete and submit the attached self-nomination form by email or snail mail to the address listed. There is no fee to participate in the flute choir; however, all participants must be members of the Mid-South Flute Society. Annual membership is $20 for students and $25 for non-students.
